Salary: £38000 - £45500 per annum + Final Salary Pension

Planning Project Information Manager Primavera P3e MS Project PMO NPO Project Office NHS Prince2 - This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a cutting edge NHS IT programme to work as a Planning and Stakeholder Engagement Manager within a fast moving environment. Reporting directly to the PMO Programme Lead and based out of the National Programme Office (NPO) of a 12bn IT programme, you will be responsible for the assurance of complex plans produced by a variety third party suppliers for the development and introductions of solutions within a major IT programme. You will also be required to offer Project Management consultancy by advising NHS clients on the drawing up and agreement of project plans with suppliers. Utilising a variety of planning tools including MS Project, Excel and Primavera P3e, you will plan, monitor, and report on programme progress, whilst identifying inter-dependencies, variances, slippage and apply critical path analysis to programme plans. Key to this role will be the applicants ability to spot gaps and errors in plans and reports whilst also maintaining credible deliverables with Project and Programme Managers. The successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of working in a fast moving project environment, with excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external. This will include the ability to extract key information from stakeholders to ensure key milestones have been met. Candidates will also have good working knowledge of MS Project and Excel, whilst knowledge of Primavera is highly desirable. Applications are particularly encouraged from Information Managers with planning experience.
