Assistant Clinical Director: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Clinical Director to join a well established and fast growing healthcare organisation in London. The Assistant Clinical Director will be tasked with leading activities relating to the improvement of clinical quality as a health and care company, additionally increasing customer safety and co-ordinating clinical governance functions in the business.

Commutable Locations: London, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Essex, Berkshire, Kent, Windsor, Watford

Assistant Clinical Director – Key Responsibilities:

-Lead clinical governance activities across the group, involving the co-ordination, implementation and following up of improvement measures in all business units -Act as a central representative for the nursing community across the company and establish and maintain relationships with lead nurses in the clinical teams across all businesses -Take a key role in public relations by supporting company relationships with the wider healthcare community – principally the nursing community

Assistant Clinical Director – skills, qualifications, experience:

-RGN status (Registered General Nurse) -Clinical experience background before clear progression to a managerial role -Deep understanding of international healthcare systems including health policy and practice and the interactions between public and private systems -Prince 2 or MSP advantageous -Solid academic background with a qualification to degree level or equivalent
