Release Manager UK - Maternity Cover - up to 12 months Salary: £43,000 Location: Oxfordshire

Please note this is up to 12 months Maternity Cover Contract role based in the Oxfordshire area.

The Job Purpose of this role is:

- To manage and plan the test activities across all software application changes on one or more products across several platforms - To represent Release Management as a stakeholder throughout software development lifecycle - To manage a team of QA Test Specialists

Qualifications and Experience:

- IT or Healthcare related degree - ISEB Foundation desirable - Experience of testing in healthcare domain - Experience of working with an offshore development model - Team Leader experience

Main Responsibility:

- Team management - Prepare detailed test plans for allocated software releases - To liaise with other internal partners to assure quality governance throughout software development lifecycle - Support and Mentor QA Test Specialists to lead test phases

Technical Skills:

- Specialist knowledge in the software application products highly desirable - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent understanding of QA management principles and processes - High degree of computer literacy, especially Outlook, Microsoft Officer suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
