Salary: £50000 - £60000 per annum + Car + Bonus + Benefits

BI Consultant - SSAS - Reading - £50,000 + Car/Allowance

SQL Server 2005/SQL Server 2008, OLAP, MDX - Microsoft BI, SSAS, Analysis Services

The successful candidate will have:

· Microsoft BI experience, which must include building OLAP cubes using SSAS and writing MDX queries

· Experience in developing Scorecards and dashboards using PerformancePoint/SharePoint

· SQL Server 2000/2005/08 database development knowledge, including T-SQL, SPs, UDFs, Triggers etc

· Experience of developing reports using SSRS in SharePoint context

· Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to understand and document customer requirements

· The ability to work as a team player as well being able to use their initiative and work alone.

· A flexible attitude and a desire to make their mark in a rapidly growing, dynamic organisation



The successful candidate may also have:

· Microsoft certification or other relevant accreditation

· Microsoft Office skills (VBA/Automation)

· Experience in using of Excel as a frontend tool for OLAP

· .NET Programming experience (C# or VB.NET)

· Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems (Installation/configuration)

· Experience of using source control systems (e.g. SourceSafe)

· OO development experience using a .NET language

· NHS domain knowledge
