E-Health Insider Live ’09

1,300 people, 80 exhibitors, four conference streams, the sheep key-rings, the chocolate fountain. Last week, E-Health Insider Live ’09 took place at The ICC in Birmingham, and E-Health Insider’s editorial team was there.

The big talking point of the second day was whether iSoft could really get 25 trusts to go live with Lorenzo Regional Care next year, as its executive chairman and chief executive Gary Cohen confidently said it would.

But there was plenty more to discuss, from the possible impact of the coming financial crunch and general election, to whether more acute trusts would break free of the national programme, to whether NHS organisations should be forced to publish more information for the public.

Booking is already underway for E-Health Insider Live 2010, which will take place at The NEC in Birmingham from 8-9 November next year. More than 500 square metres of space have already been sold. If you would like to book a stand, please email Neil Hadland.
